Blogmas 2017 Day 3: Gift Guide for Her

Blogmas 2017 Day 3: Gift Guide for Her

I know, I know... every year. What do I get for my girlfriend, wife, sister, or friend? Women can be the hardest to shop for, especially when we have multiple interests and hobbies. If there is one thing that all women love secretly, is makeup!

Kat Von D Tattoo Liner
This is hands down, my favorite liquid eye liner. It's great for making thin or think wings, easy to handle, has a long ling during the day without fading or smudging and, the product itself lasts a long time. You get a lot of product in this tiny tube!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit
This is my favorite contour kit. A little pricey, but worth every penny. The pigmentation is ridiculous, you get a lot of product in the pans, and the color lasts all day! There are three different skin tone palettes; light, medium, dark. The pans are removable, which means you can pop them out and put them into another palette of your choice or take it wherever you need to. As a bonus, Anastasia Beverly Hills sells refills for the pans on their website that you can purchase and refill when the pan has ran out.

Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette
This is my top favorite palette from Too Faced, probably the one that got me into their brand of makeup. All the shades are great for everyday looks, easy to blend, long lasting and they smell like chocolate.

Morphe Jaclyn Hill Eyeshadow Palette
This palette was made and dedicated for Jaclyn Hill's subscribers. It has more of her Morphe eyeshadow color favorites in them that she came up with. I personally love Morphe eyeshadows, they are highly pigmented, bendable, long lasting and are affordable.

Beautyblender Blotterazzi Pro
Oily skin? I have that too! Instead of using those annoying blotting sheets that are a pain to use or throw away, the blotterazzi was specifically made for this. It has the same concept as their beautyblender, except it absorbs oil without messing up makeup. The sponge itself is washable and you get a second sponge you can replace it with. The case also has a handy mirror. A must need in every purse for women with oily skin.

Sephora Face Mask Magic! Face Mask Set
I love face masks. They're a great way to get all that excess oil, dirt, and gunk out of your pores and to refresh your skin after a long week. A week can do a lot to your face and neck; dirt, oil, wind, makeup, etc. These masks are for ALL skin types and targets solutions for dryness, fine lines,  wrinkles, dullness, and uneven texture.

Beautyblender Original
I love this makeup sponge for putting on liquid foundation! It helps apply it faster, easier and evenly through the face. It's washable and can used many times before needing to be replaced. A must need in every makeup box!

Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette
This palette is all about rose gold, rose gold and rose gold. They are perfect rose gold shades for everyday and even night time looks. They are beautiful, high pigmented, long lasting shades.

Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette
To this day, I still use this palette for any everyday look. They are such beautiful neutral shades, you can create any look from simple to dramatic!

Urban Decay Basics Palette
This is one of Urban Decays simple palettes for everyday looks. And I mean simple! You can make a look that's barely noticeable to dramatic with this little palette. Six shades that are high pigmented, long lasting and perfect for anyone who just wants a simple everyday look!

Mini Haul! Ulta, Sephora & Target!

Hello beautifuls!

I'm starting to prep for some new blog posts and videos but, in the meantime, I thought I would do a quick post. A mini haul with Target, Ulta, and Sephora. I've been picking up new items, back up items, two room sprays, and my birthday gifts during the last month so these are all from different times.

I picked up my birthday gifts from Sephora and Ulta. My birthday was August 25. From Sephora, I received two miniature sized lip crayons in a gorgeous red and mauve nude shade. From Ulta, I received a deluxe sample of Urban Decay Perversion mascara, which I'm looking forward to trying out.

L'Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation:
The last time I picked this up, I got the wrong shade and it was terrible on me. I'm hoping I got the correct shade (the lightest shade they have). I really hope this works for me, I've been wanting to try this foundation out ever since it came out, since I've heard it's works so well with oily skin.

L'Oreal Miss Manga Rock Mascara:
Another mascara I've been wanting to try out! I loved the original Miss Manga mascara and really wanted to try this version out.

Hard Candy Fast & Fabulous Makeup Setting Spray:
I love this setting spray. This will be my second bottle of this stuff now. A great setting spray and $8? Why not? I had to pick this up!

ELF Daily Brush Cleanser:
I mainly use this cleanser for spot cleaning my eye, concealer, and eyebrow brushes. It's so inexpensive and fairly easy to buy at several places too!

Maybelline Fit Me Concealer:
I love this concealer. I use this to sculpt and clean up my eyebrows and to cover up dark circles under my eyes.

Rimmel Stay Matte Primer & Pressed Powder:
This is another favorite primer of mine I like to use to keep my face and foundation matte and the pressed powder is my absolutely favorite go to for finishing powder!

Pacifica Kake Detox Deep Cleansing Face Wash:
I've been using their seafoam face wash for two years and I absolutely love that face wash. I found this one at Ulta and it's meant for "oily and acne prone skin", which is what I have. I hope I enjoy using this. I will definitely be doing a review on this!

Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes:
I've been using these for almost a year and they are by far, the best makeup wipe to get all my makeup off, including long wearing foundations and liquid liners.

Tresemme Extra Firm Control Hairspray
Best. Hairspray. Ever.

Review! Sephora+Pantone Universe Lip Wands + Swatches!

Hello beautifuls! I feel it's been awhile since I've done a review for you all. Ever since December started rolling, the holidays and work got crazy, I tried to keep up with Blogmas, and everything was a crazy mess! I'll be sharing with you these four lip wands from Sephora + Pantone Universe!

I found these in a set of four at my local TJ Maxx for around $7.00. Not a bad price, considering it's Sephora + Pantone Universe, which is a pricey brand on it's own. I believe these were a set from there color of the year for Emerald, but I'm not quite sure.

The lip wands are small sized and square shaped, perfect for putting in a purse, wallet, pocket, and storing just about anywhere. I do love the packaging. It's very simple, feminine, and inviting. However, even though the packaging is small, it's still an awkward shape to store.

The shade of the lip product is shown in the square. This square is where you squeeze the product out, like a squeeze tube lip product. The product is a bit hard to squeeze out.

The bottom of the lip products have their name, how much product is in the packaging, distribution information, expiration date, and the website of Sephora.

From left to right: Touch of Emerald, Georgia Peach, Cameo Brown, Crocus

Pros:
Sweet smelling (I swear they small like marshmallows)
High pigmentation
Long lasting

Cons:
Sticky!
Limited edition

Final Thoughts:
If you're able to find these at TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Ross, Etc., I think they are worth checking out and buying them. They are definitely worth the small price of $7.00 that I paid for them, considering in Sephora they would three times that amount. They are long lasting and have great color pay off despite the product being sticky.

Sephora VIB 500 Points Haul!

So, I've been saving up my Sephora points for the past year or so since I really haven't found anything that I liked in the 100 point range. I was at Sephora recently and saw that their 500 point selection was a little Dior set!

It was all wrapped in Dior printed tissue paper in this lovely little box, which makes a great box for storing things in my IKEA Alex 9 Drawer or just storing little things!

J'adore Eau De Parfum
Diorshow Mascara
Instant Gentle Cleansing Oil
Addict Gloss (not sure of the color name)

I'm excited mostly about the perfume, gloss and mascara samples.

Sephora Haul! Lorac, Too Faced, Kat Von D, Makeup Forever

I recently made a trip to Sephora and came out with some new goodies! I was excited to get some new products, especially a new liquid liner!

LoracPRO Palette: This palette is amazing! It's a must have if you don't have it. I'm amazed how long it took me to finally get this palette after drooling over it for so long. The pigmentation is amazing and staying power is an all day! It has a variety of shimmer and matte shadows to make numerous eye looks. I've been using a mixture of the shimmer and mattes ever since I got it.

Too Faced Candlelight Glow: I've been using the Fergie Wet n Wild highlighters for a year or so and I love them so much. I've been eyeing this highlighter for so long. It's amazing on my skin tone. The packaging is adorable as well.

Kat Von D Tattoo Liner: After using L'oreal's Linear Liquid Liner for years I finally decided it was time for the search for a new liquid liner. The L'oreal one was constantly fading through out the day and smearing in the inner corner of my eye. This Kat Von D liner is amazing. It's a super fine tip which makes it easy to create a winged eye and it stays all day for me

Makeup Forever Artist Shadows: These are brand new to Sephora and I was swatching a whole bunch of them. I'm drawn to purple eye shadows and I couldn't resist buying these three. Sephora had a three shadows for $44. I bought I918 Lavender, I922 Eletric Purple, and ME930 Black Purple. The pigmentation on these shadows is ridiculous!
