January 2015 Empties + Would I Repurchase?

Hey beautifuls, long time no post! I'm sharing with you today my empty products for the month of January 2015. I feel as if these and favorites posts/videos are my favorite. You get a mini review and possible new product recommendation all at the same time!

Makeup:

Revlon ColorStay Whipped (Buff):
I swear, this foundation is like cement on my face. It's so hard to remove at night. It blends and dries on my face beautifully. It controls my oil so well and lasts all day! Repurchase.

Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder (Transparent):
This is my go to setting powder to set my entire face when using foundation and concealer. It sets everything, controls shine, controls the majority of my oil, keeps me matte all day, and has never bothered my face. Repurchase.

Revlon ColorStay Foundation (Buff):
This will always be a favorite foundation of mine. I use it anytime of the year for that full coverage look. It has never broken me out or irritated my skin. Repurchase.

Maybelline FitMe Concealer:
I ran out of my MAC Pro Longwear Concealer and was looking a temporary concealer to do the same or similar job of MAC Pro Longwear Concealer. I did some looking around, and watched a review video on this concealer saying it's a dupe for the NARS Creamy Concealer, which is very similar to the MAC Pro Longwear Concealer. This concealer works wonders on cleaning and shaping up my brows, concealing my under eyes, and it doesn't crease! Repurchase!

Kat Von D Tattoo Liner:
This has become my go to and favorite liquid eyeliner! I've tried so many eyeliners to achieve a wing, and 90% of the time I got smudging, hard to work with tip points, or it fading within a few hours. This stuff sticks all day, doesn't move, doesn't bother my eyes, and gives me complete control of my wing! Repurchase!

Rimmel Stay Matte Primer:
I actually do like this primer for days I need shine and oil control on my face, but I'm not putting on as much makeup or none at all. It does help with shine, but controlling oil, it's not very good as it breaks down around my nose after awhile. Other than that, it's a great primer to use on days I just do my brows, eye makeup, and concealer! Repurchase.

ELF Eyelid Primer:
This will always be a go to eyelid primer. It works and it's inexpensive! Sometimes I like to use this to prime my eyes when I'm using a creme shadow, as those can sometimes crease on me throughout the day. Repurchase!

Milani Eye Tech Extreme Liquid Eyeliner:
I had this eyeliner for the longest time, and thought it was going to be an exact dupe for the Kat Von D Tattoo Liner, but it's not. It gives off a semi-matte black look which isn't bad, but it isn't the most pigmented black liquid eyeliner I've used. The felt tip point is very difficult to work with as it's stiff and larger. Not a repurchase.

Skin & Body Care:

Giovanni Moisturizing Sensitive Skin Cream Shave (Fragrance Free):
BEST. SHAVING CREAM. EVER. I'm serious.... all other shaving creams need to get a lesson from this one! This is such a moisturizing shaving cream, I no longer dread shaving my legs now. Before, my legs would scream at me in pain and irritation. Not anymore! My legs are smooth and happy! Repurchase.

Acure Coconut & Pumpkin Hydrating Body Wash:
This body wash smalls amazing! It's defenitely smells like pumpkin and coconut, which is amazing smelling. It doesn't lather up very fast like some of my body washes, but it's extremely moisturizing and leaves my skin feeling very smooth afterwards! Repurchase.

EOS Hand Lotion (Cucumber):
I stick these in my bag I take to school with me since I'm constantly having to wash my hands on campus (you know, campuses are dirty places!) and since that dries my hands out, I use this to moisturize them at school! It's compact and easily fits in my bag for school!

Pacifica Sea Foam Complete Face Wash:
I've been using this face wash for about two years now and I love it. I use it morning and night with my clarisonic! It removes any remaining makeup my makeup wipes didn't get, cleans my face, doesn't break me out, or irritate my skin. It's become my holy grail face wash! Repurchase!

Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes:
I completely the rest of my makeup and cleanse my face in the shower at night with my clarisonic. With these wipes, they do the job of removing the majority of that makeup, so my clarisonic doesn't get clogged up. These don't break me, add extra oil, or irritate my skin. Repurchase.

Salon Perfect Eye Correcting Sticks:
I love these! I use these all the time when I make mistakes on my eye makeup or my winged eyeliner. They clean up mistakes fast and easy! Repurchase.

Misc:

Bath & Body Works Hand Sanitizer (Gingersnap):
Smells like a gingerbread cookie! That's all!

January 2015 Favorites!

Happy Friday beautifuls! I can't believe it's already the end of January and the year just started! 2014 went by fast...

Today I'm sharing my January 2015 favorites with you all. I have some makeup, body care, brushes, and some random stuff I decided to throw in the favorites pile.

 Makeup:

Milani Matte Lipsticks (Matte Innocence & Naked):
Oh my, when I finally got my hands on these lipsticks, I was excited to try them out. I usually don't get too many matte lipsticks becuase they either dry my lips out or don't sit very well on my lips. These lipsticks are amazing! They are so creamy! They lasts so long, don't dry my lips out, and the color payoff is beautiful!

Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil Bronzer (Light/Medium):
I finally gave this bronzer another shot. I loooooooove it. No really, I do. I think I've found the perfect everyday bronzer for my skin tone! It's perfect, stays all day, and smells so delicious!

Milani Powder Rose Blush (Romantic Rose):
These blushes were limited edition a year or so ago, and I could never get my hands on them, never! They were always sold out and at select stores. When I saw that they were bringing them back as a permanent collection on their instagram page, I was excited! These blushes are a must have, especially if have pale skin like me. They are long lasting, wonderful smelling, high pigmented, and not bad on the price either.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit (Banana shade):
I finally got on the "Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit" wagon. For so long, I was told I should get it, it's great, blah blah blah.... I finally decided to get it with my 20% off coupon and points at Ulta for super cheap and I'm in love with banana shade. I use to set my undereye concealer and it sets it for the entire day with no creasing!

Maybelline "The Brights" Palette:
This is Maybelline's newest palette they released in the very beginning of this year. It's exclusive to Target, so it's very hard to find, if you find it at all right now. I have a full review and currently a tutorial up about this palette. I have loved with palette since I bought it. It's their best released palette in my opinion. Such pretty colors and pigmentation!

L'Oreal Infallible Pro-Set & Spray Makeup Extender Setting Spray:
I've only liked a few makeup settings sprays in my entire makeup experience. Those by Urban Decay and Skindinavia. This one is amazing! It works just as well as my Allnighter Spray by Urban Decay. It holds my makeup in place all day and especially around my nose where I get the oiliest in my oily t-zone.

Brushes:

Real Techniques Buffing Brush:
I've been using a large stippling brush to blend out my bronzer, blush, and highlight, until now! I love this brush for that. Don't get me wrong, I still love and use my stippling brush for blending, but this brush gives the blending an airbrush look!

Real Techniques Contour Brush:
I haven't used this for contouring much, maybe just a little! I've been using it to pat on my highlight on my upper cheek bones and it does such a wonderful job! It puts on the right amount of highlight; not too much, not too little! Just enough!

Real Techniques Expert Face Brush:
I haven't used a foundation brush to apply foundation in almost a year or so now since I was so hooked onto using my beauty sponges to apply it. This brush it awesome! Not only does it apply foundation beautifully, it gives it an airbrush look, and the blending it does is incredible!

Sonia Kashuk Large Shader Brush (No. 203):
I picked this up early this month while at Target and was curious about trying it out. I've been eyeing it for awhile and thought, "why not!" It makes packing colors onto the lid so easy and fast! It great for inner corner highlight colors too!

Body Care:

Acure Coconut & Pumpkin Ulta-Hydrating Body Wash:
I loooove this body wash. It smells amazing. I found it at Whole Foods. It's so moisturizing, I don't even need lotion on my legs after a shower with it. I can ever shave my legs with it if I want. Acure makes such great products.

Shea Moisture Olive & Great Tea Body Wash:
Another body wash that I absolutely love! I'm so glad I finally tried this brand after seeing it for so long. It's such a great smelling, moisturizing body wash that leaves my legs feeling so wonderful after a shower. I can also shave with this if I want. My skin is also no longer dried, itchy, and red after starting to use this body wash.

Nubian Heritage Lavender & Wildflowers Body Lotion:
This is a wonderful body lotion. It definitely lives up to it's claims of being soothing, anti-inflammatory, and relaxing to tired muscles! My legs are so happy when I use this lotion. I have the beginnings of arthritis in my ankle and this really helps to calm it down after a long day on my feet. It has the consistency of a body butter, so I prefer to use it at night after a shower, but either way, it has really improved my skin. My skin is no longer itchy and dried out!

COMPLETELY RANDOM THINGS!

 Juicy Fruit Starbursts Gum (Strawberry):
This gum tastes just like strawberry starbursts. I can't stop chewing it!

Windex Electronic Wipes:
I really like these wipes for my Galaxy S4, iPad, iPod, Laptop ... all my electronics! They get gunky and greasy after a few days of handling and these wipes get all the oil from my face, hands, makeup, dust, and dirt off them!

Pledge Multi Surface Wipes:
My vanity and bedside table from all mirror furniture from the Hayworth Collection at Pier 1 Imports, and for the longest time, I was cleaning them with windex. Thankfully, I stopped doing that and used a cleaner specifically designed for mirrors. This gets all the gunk and powder off my vanity that collects throughout the week (and I mean... a thin line of powder is on my vanity by the end of week, haha!)

SimCity BuildIt:
Ooooh my goodness! I haven't been obsessed with a game this long since Guild Wars (and I still play Guild Wars, ever since 2007, haha) If you ever played the Sims, you know they the most demanding people ever! In this game, you have Sims living in your city and you have to keep them happy, healthy, and safe! It's like building a city, destroying it, rebuilding it, and playing with Sims at the same time! Fun addictive game!

Friday Favorites!

Hello again beautifuls! I feel like it's been forever since my last post. I'm so sorry! This past week got crazy. Thankfully, I'm back on my blogging and filming game again!

Today I'm sharing my Friday favorites!

First and foremost, recently I've become more aware of what ingredients and chemicals are in the products I use on a daily basis; makeup, hair care, body care, skin care, oral care, etc. and it's pretty shocking where they come from, how they're made... and down right gross! I'm trying to get away from harsh chemicals in products, if I can!

Makeup:

NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil (Rust):
I love the Jumbo Eye Pencils from NYX! They are so creamy and easy to apply, blend, and work with. I'm grabbing for the "Rust" pencil to apply to my entire eyelid when I want a burgundy or wine colored eye for the day, especially since's Fall time! This color has really help intensify the burgundy colors I've been using!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Tamanna Palette:
I swear almost every other day this week, I've been grabbing for this palette and busting into "Sangria"! It's such a gorgeous wine color, I can't resist it.

Urban Decay Naked 2 Basics Platte:
I'll admit, I've been waking up pretty late almost everyday this week and on those days, I need to get out of the house faster and I need my hair and makeup done as fast as I can without anything special done to it. I've been grabbing this palette for a quick neutral eye!

KISS Lashes (Style #11):
I've been a huge fan of KISS lashes in their #01 style. Those lashes are huge, voluminous, and insane! But, these are kinda like demi wispies and a lot easier to apply then the #01 styles.

Lips:

Alaffia Fair Trade Lip Balm (Coconut Mint):
This stuff is amazing! I've been trying to find lip balms without "petrolatum" or "petroleum", because I have found out that ingredient alone chaps my lips and dries them out! This feels amazing on my lips, it's last for hours, and when it dries, my lips don't have an uncomfortable feeling to them

Acure Argan Oil Lip Balm (Dark Chocolate + Mint):
I have been loving the mint flavor and scent in this lip balm! It takes almost like your eating a mint chocolate candy. It's super moisturizing and last for hours. I've been using this as part of my bedtime routine!

Ology Lip Balm (Tangerine):
I originally found this at Walgreens, tried it, and it ended up buried away in the lip drawer of my makeup storage. I recently found it while going through that drawer to pull out my fall and winter lip products and I'm loving the feel of this stuff!

Rimmel Color Rush Long Lasting Intense Colour Balm (Drive Me Nude, Make Me Blush, and Keep Mauving):
I have been obsessed with these balm stains all week long! They smell good, they're creamy, they give great color payoff, and they have been a great go-to fall lip product for this week as it's been a busy week!

Revlon Color Burst Balm Stain (Honey):
First off, the minty flavor and scent on these lip products are to die for if you are a mint fan! They are moisturizing, last for hours once they dry and leave their stain, and I've been wearing this with all my neutral eye looks for a pop of color for my lips!

Jordana Twist & Shine Moisturizing Balm Stain (Nude Chic):
I feel as if this lip product was found during my fall and winter lip shade searching a few weeks ago! It's been a fun color! It's more of a darker shade of nude, so it has gone perfectly with my dark eye looks or even my neutral eye looks!

Skin:

Acure Argan Stem Cell + Chlorella Growth Factor Brightening Facial Scrub:
This is such a great scrub! It smells so earthy! It's free of basically everything and organic! Most facial scrubs irritate my skin because of the fragrance alone, so this being fragrance free it awesome! It's an intense scrub so I've only used it once since using it, but so far I love how it makes my skin feel afterwards: SMOOTH!

Alba Botanica Very Emollient Cream Shave (Unscented):
The skin on my entire body is extremely sensitive, even on my care, with it being oily. I can barely use anything scented on my legs without them screaming at me, being red, itchy, dried out, and uncomfortable. No more of that! I found this awesome shaving cream and I'm sticking to this forever. No more Skintimate or Satin Care ... this stuff is magical! My skin is moisturized, not irritated or itchy, and I think it makes my skin smoother than other shaving creams I've used!

Hair:

Mineral Fusion Volumizing Shampoo & Conditioner:
After recently getting my hair done, I went to Whole Foods recently in search of a new shampoo and conditioner and discovered the Mineral Fusion Volumizing Shampoo and Conditioner. It's gluten free, paraben free, sulfate free, and pretty much organic! It smells great, lathers in my hair great, doesn't weigh my hair done and my hair feels wonderful! Salfates are really what weighs hair done, so having so salfate is great!

I hope you all enjoyed my little Friday favorites!
